This thing just works! What more could you ask for????

I needed digital assistance for organizing my check book. This Program has provided the help I was seeking. I am glad that made the purchase.

I have went through several brand name budget and checking solutions and none of them compare to the ease of use of Checkbook. I love this app, it is the best checking solution I have found or used.

Easy to use and straight to the point. If your looking for a way to keep up with Family bills etc this is perfect

After using Quicken for Windows for many years, I wanted to use my Mac to just balance my checkbook. The Checkbook app does everything I want: imports a QIF file from my bank, lets me enter/select categories for transactions, and reconciles with each month’s statement. If, like me, you don’t need a complex financial app, this is the app for you.

Performs functions as well and better than Quiken essentials. Great for the average user

Easy to use. Looks great. Keeps me balanced. I like the organization between multiple accounts.

My wife and I were looking for a simple app just to manage our “checkbook”. We found it with “Checkbook”. We don’t need (and don’t want) extensive money management software. It gave us exactly what we wanted.

All I wanted was a simple checkbook ledger that would perform addition and subtraction and that I could print from when I wanted. Checkbook does just what I wanted! Plus I like the way that you can easily use the same designations over and over and it automatically fills in and saves a little typing. For the accounts I use it for it does just what I wanted it to do and I am completely happy with the app!

I really love this app. It does everything I need it to do. I had to really look for the instructions to use transfer between accounts but now it is easy to do. I would recommend this app.

All I needed was a simple App to keep track of my expenses, and this is it! It is very simple & intuitive to use & it is reasonably priced. Other software had "way too much stuff" that I would never need or use & the prices were way too high for what I needed. I had been making spread sheets, but that gets old very quickly. This is "exactly" what I needed, I love it!

Used Quicken for years, subcrition ran out and would no longer work with Apples newest IOS. Decided to give Check Book a try. Love it!

With my recent upgrade to Mac OS Sierra, I found out when I tried to launch Quicken Essentials that it was not compatible with the Mac upgrade. I wasn’t going to pony up 75 bucks again to Intuit, just so my software would be compatible. Time to find a new alternative. Although not as robust and at times not as intitutive as I might hope…. its a nice app. I wish it had some kind of auto-save feature though, when I was making my all initial entries it crashed & I lost almost 2 hours worht of work setting up scheduled entries. That was disappointing & frustrating. I would recommend that you save & back up your work every 5-10 minutes or so when doing your initial set up. Also while it has the ability to import Quicken files, ot doesn’t import everything. Hopefully with further development, it will become richer in features. I think for now, it will do what I neeed it to do.

CheckBook entries are quick and easy, but reconciling the account is far too difficult, and the Support process is little help. Also, there needs to be a great deal of improvement on the printable reconciliation report.

Good check register Categories little different than Quicken but you add your own along the way.

This app does everything that I want it to do! I can see exactly where my money is going and how fast!!!

I’ve been using the app for about a month now…so far I’m really liking it. It’s easy and quick to use. Perfect for keeping up with my household budget and small business too.

First time Mac user. Have used Quicken for years but all I need is a check register and bill reminder. This does the trick. Customer service is outstanding!! They immediately responded to my questions. So no worries about setting it up. They were there to assist.

Many, many years ago used Quicken and found it stunningly unwieldy for my purposes. With OS changes, I chose to do without for years rather than a new Quicken. Checkbook now does it all for me, with intuitive features which now solve all my needs, especially my initial one: to get up and running smoothly and quickly. The very clear and straightforward instructions and exceedingly comprehensive help segments made for a confident start, and now, 3+ mos. into using Checkbook, I couldn’t be without it. One of it’s many appealing features is that it customizes so well: Entry Categories, Descriptions, notes; even a Checkook page’s columns can so easily be tailored to one’s own needs. It’s amazingly tolerant of data-entry mistakes here and there, and the Reconciliation process is straightforward and effortless: no groaning! This is truly a well-crafted and maintained app. Unsure of which Splasm app would be best for my needs, I emailed with the features I wanted. . .and those I didn’t. Alan got back to me early the next day with his recommendation, and it was spot on, so I have every reason to believe Checkbook Support - should I ever need it - would be every bit as responsive.

I got this a few months back and wanted to use it BEFORE I commented. Checkbook does exactly what it should. Keep an easy record of my debits/credits and reconciles with my bank statement easily. I’m ver happy with this product. I just didn’t need pie charts, graphs etc. I just needed a good way to keep track of things. THIS DOES THE JOB nicely.
